EVITA TEST COMPLETE
Now, at an early stage in your pregnancy you can have your fetus screened for a chromosomal abnormality
This is done with a blood test – and thus is completely risk-free for your fetus.
The blood sample can be taken in pregnancy weeks 10+0 to 14+6.
An EVITA TEST COMPLETE analyses the fetus’ DNA from fetal cells circulating in maternal blood and checks whether there are chromosomal abnormalities or not.
This is the only non-invasive prenatal test in the market that provides information on all of the chromosomes of the fetus without any risk.
The chromosomal abnormalities that can be detected can e.g., be Down’s syndrome and other lesser-known genetic syndromes that could lead to severe health complications.
The special method of the test is combined with an individual assessment by a medical expert.
How is the EVITA TEST COMPLETE performed?
Rare circulating fetal cells are isolated from a blood sample using a patented technology. The DNA from the fetal cells is then analysed and assessed by a clinical geneticist. Results are available within 12 working days after the blood sample is collected.
The test can be carried out during pregnancy weeks 10+0 and 14+6.
The gender of the fetus can be disclosed at the end of 12th week of pregnancy as per the guidelines of the Danish Fetal Medicine Society.
You must record your gestational age before the gender can be disclosed.
The price of an EVITA TEST COMPLETE is DKK 15.000 DKK.
